Organic and biological chemistry; synthesis, chemistry, biochemistry and spectroscopy of porphyrins, hemes, chlorophylls, bile pigments, vitamin B12, other tetrapyrrole pigments, and their molecular complexes; organic electrochemistry; extraction of bio-active natural products, their structural characterization, synthesis, and applications.
